2009 Spring Picnic & Mother's Day Celebration
 
(Houston, Texas, USA, May 10, 2009) - The Palestinian American Bridge held a Spring Picnic and a Celebration of Mother's Day on May 10, 2009 at Randolph Park in Clear Lake/Friendswood area.  The event was a huge success with over 500 adults and children in attendance.
 
This was a fun-filled day with numerous activities, especially for the children.  The picnic included face painting, train rides, moonwalk, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cone, soft drinks, games, basketball, BBQ & hamburgers (cooked onsite by Pappas BBQ), and many other activities.
 
Roses were distributed to all mothers in celebration of Mother's Day, and special songs were played in celebration of all mothers.
 
The event also included an update on the purchase and shipment of medical supplies to the besieged Gaza Strip!
